Personal data

ActiveReaction takes all necessary precautions to protect any personal data and therefore complies with the Personal Data Protection Act of the Netherlands, which is based on the EU Data Protection directive. ActiveReaction never discloses any personal data to third parties without explicit permission of the respondent. Personal data is collected entirely voluntary at all stages and treated as confidential. Personal data is never used for any non-research purposes, unless the respondent expressly requests or permits disclosure to a third party. ActiveReaction will take all necessary precautions to ensure (technical) protection against any loss, misuse and alteration of personal data.

Website visitors' browsing data

When browsing this website, general information such as the visitor's IP address, the type of browser used and names of files and pages retrieved are logged by ActiveReaction's web servers. Also, we use Google Analytics to track website traffic. It is not possible for us to personally identify the visitor using this information; we only use this information to improve this website's content and meet our visitors' expectations.

No cookies in our surveys

A cookie is a small file created by a web server, which is saved on the visitor's hard disk. Upon subsequent page requests, this file is sent back to the web server in order for the web server to 'recognise' which visiting computer it dealt with the previous time. This has privacy implications, as each individual's 'browsing behaviour' can be tracked. That is why all of our surveys are completely 'cookie-free', which often isn't the case when dealing with some of our competitors' solutions. For more (technical) information on this subject please contact us.

Changes to the Privacy statement

ActiveReaction reserves the right to change any of the terms of this Privacy statement at any time without notice. ActiveReaction therefore recommends you review this Privacy statement from time to time.
